SingularityNET Supervisory Council Election
David Tann
AKA Fly You Fools
Welcome! I'm David and I'm running as a candidate in the Supervisory Council Election.
Here you can find more information about the candidancy, the Supervisory Council and SingularityNET. You'll find links to read the full proposal, watch videos and follow links to the other candidates, SingularityNET and their Decentralisation events. Thanks for stopping by.
Good luck voting!I'm a Fool. An imaginator & innovator. Affiliated researcher, creative producer & facilitator. Trained clown, interdisciplinary artist and SingularityNET Ambassador.I trace the Fool's legacy of speaking truth to power in order to continually re-examine assumptions as we shape beneficial intelligence guided by human values. Just as the court jester introduced confounding ideas to provoke progress in the king’s court, we must playfully yet critically question conventions to create ethical systems worthy of human dignity."The Supervisory Council will be a body of 3 members elected by our community. The Council will work with a carefully selected Task Force to design a Decentralization Blueprint that will guide the development of SingularityNET's decentralized communities. We need experienced people who are committed to SingularityNET's vision of decentralized, beneficial AI and AGI, with a strong dedication to serving our community. By having a community vote on these important positions, Council members will be true representatives of the SingularityNET community!"

Below is a collection of texts from the proposal, which you can see fully by following the link:
A contemporary Fool - I draw on a long tradition of speaking truth to power. Posing the questions others do not ask. This ability to challenge conventions and assumptions - even in ways deemed absurd or naive - often catalyses breakthrough innovations.I am first and foremost a community member of the SingularityNET ecosystem and my goal on the Supervisory Council is to represent the community. To serve as a mouthpiece, enable transdisciplinary collaboration, osmosis of information and innovate with imagination. I have been an active part of the SingularityNET Ambassador Program & Deep Funding communities since 2022.I will tap into the Fool's legacy of questioning the status quo to ask the stupid, dangerous and unpopular questions essential to steering decentralisation ethically & effectively. We must be willing to critically examine even widely accepted ideas to develop new paradigms guiding technology for the benefit of humanity and ecology.Alchemists in the 1800's were fools & outcasts of their time. They used the term astral plane to describe a world in which knowledge could be downloaded and uploaded from the source. They wrote of a reality where individuals could connect collectively across distance. Bravatsky's Akashic Records crystalised this idea of "memory of nature". It took centuries to incubate these far-out ideas into manifest reality. And now centuries later we see the fruits of these ideas in Web 3.0 technology. Just as those occultists drew criticism yet paved the way for contemporary tech, we too must be bold dreamers and compassionate philosophers. With courage and care, we will venture wisely into this emerging frontier.I trace the Fool's legacy of speaking truth to power in order to continually re-examine assumptions as we shape beneficial intelligence guided by human values. Just as the court jester introduced confounding ideas to provoke progress in the king’s court, we must playfully yet critically question conventions to create ethical systems worthy of human dignity. The supervisory council needs members which are experts in their field in addition to members who are already attuned to the workings of the SingularityNET community. I hope that my demonstrated ecosystem involvement, interdisciplinary background & collaborative tendencies highlight that I’m a candidate who can enable community on the Supervisory Council. I will apply participatory and ethical approaches to decentralisation and AI development for the benefit of all.The Fool demonstrates the vital role of unconventional questioning in service of collective growth. If selected, I pledge to ask the naive, controversial and seemingly ridiculous questions necessary to defy conventions. We have a responsibility to politely yet critically inquire for the good of all people regardless of temporary discomfort.
